Update all forms of online vocational profile—LinkedIn, social media bios and so on. Google yourself to make sure there are no out of date or pointless items about yourself out there that could affect your reputation.

Devise a highly calibrated new work wardrobe with total, ruthless objectivity. If you don’t need a go-to outfit every day, get one or two amazing things prepped in case you DO have to suddenly do FaceTime with a VIP, show up at a sudden opportune interview or pop up on television.
